for a list of supplies needed to help the hurricane victims, click here.

it is disgusting to see the Bush administration pass the buck of responsibility again. he has yet to attend any funerals for the fallen heros of the Iraq war, but yet has the time to speak at the funeral of the dead supreme court judge? I think its time we stop this silliness and demand answers. Who is really pulling the strings of this [p]Resident? who does he really care about? ordinary people? how can he when he is so cut off from reality? americans should be supporting the Democrats and bi-partisan efforts to hold the Federal Gov't accountable for this disaster. No one could have stopped the hurricane, but they could have been ready to respond.

lets face it, this was the perfect opportunity to prove that his administration is ready for a terrorist attack ... as predicted, as expected, as usual -- he failed.

rare live ritual

"I would rather be ashes than dust!
I would rather that my spark should burn out
in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry rot.
I would rather be a superb meteor,
every atom of me in magnificent glow,
than a sleepy and permanent planet.

The proper function of man is to live, not to exist.
I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them.
I shall use my time."
-- Jack London
